Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 14, 2026. This policy explains how דמיטרי צ׳ולקין, operating under the trade name PainMiner, collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit our website (https://bizpain.org). We are committed to transparency and compliance with data protection laws in every jurisdiction we serve.

1. What Data We Collect

Google Analytics (ID: G-457L9MJ5QY): When you visit our site, Google Analytics automatically collects anonymized data about your interaction, including your approximate geographic location (country-level only, not precise location), the pages you visit, the time spent on each page, the device type (mobile/desktop), browser type, and referring URL. This data is anonymized and does not identify you personally.

Language Preference: We store your selected language (English, Turkish, Russian, Serbian, or Hebrew) locally in your browser using localStorage. This is a client-side preference and is never transmitted to our servers or third parties.

Custom Research Form (Netlify Forms): If you submit a research request via our Custom Research page, we collect your name, email address, industry, region, and a description of your research needs. This data is processed by Netlify Forms (Netlify Inc., San Francisco, USA) and transmitted to PainMiner solely to respond to your inquiry. We retain form submissions for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted. The lawful basis for this processing is your explicit consent (indicated by the consent checkbox on the form).

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the anonymized data collected by Google Analytics for the following purposes:

Lawful Basis: For Google Analytics, the lawful basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1)), given via the cookie consent banner. Analytics data is only collected after you accept. For custom research form submissions, the lawful basis is your explicit consent indicated by the consent checkbox on the form.

3. Data Retention

Google Analytics Data: Google Analytics retains user-level data according to its own retention policy, typically 26 months. We do not manually store or process any of the raw data collected by Google Analytics; it remains within Google's infrastructure. You can view Google's retention policy at: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/13013926

Language Preference (localStorage): Stored locally in your browser and never transmitted to our servers. You can delete this at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage or using your browser's privacy settings.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing & International Transfers

Google Analytics (USA): Your anonymized analytics data is processed by Google LLC, headquartered in Mountain View, California, USA. Google operates under its own Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and complies with applicable US data protection laws. When analytics data is collected, it is transmitted to Google's servers in the USA. This constitutes an international data transfer.

Third-Party Service Providers: Beyond Google for analytics, form submission data from the Custom Research page is processed by Netlify Inc. (San Francisco, USA) as described in section 1. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. No other third parties receive your personal data.

Note for Russian Federation users (Federal Law 242-FZ): Analytics and form submission data is processed on servers located outside the Russian Federation (Google LLC servers in the USA; Netlify Inc. servers in the USA). By consenting to analytics or submitting a form, you acknowledge that your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. We do not currently maintain data-processing servers within the Russian Federation.
